As a compassionate person-centred therapist, I welcome all parts of you and all that you bring. I will endeavour to step into your world and together we can explore your emotions, your inner thoughts and your true feelings. I will be kind and listen to you, whilst offering you a confidential and safe space without judging you or criticising you.
In recent times walk and talk (or outdoor) therapy has become increasingly popular. I believe the benefits of spending time in natural, outdoor spaces nurtures our physical, emotional and spiritual existence.
If you are struggling with poor mobility, recovering from surgery, or feel unable to venture out, I will consider home visits. I do offer telephone / online counselling as well as walk and talk therapy, however, a face-to-face visit may suit you better. For the last two years whilst working for a charity I predominantly worked with over 65’s and found I have a natural affinity with this age group. Regardless of your age I will not put you in a pigeon hole, I will value you, your thoughts, emotions and feelings (good or bad), authenticity is key for both client and counsellor. Most importantly I will listen to you …
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any queries, with warm wishes Dawn
